There are many opportunities for you to volunteer your time and talents as a Pioneer alum.

class reunions

Would you like to play an active role in planning your next class reunion? The MNU Office of Alumni Relations relies on alumni to make class reunions memorable for attendees. If you are interested in being involved in planning your upcoming reunion, please contact the Alumni Office. We provide a handbook designed to guide you in the class reunion planning process.

ALUMNI MENTORING PROGRAM

Serve as a mentor to a junior or senior student.

COMMITMENT

MNU alums from all fields are invited to participate in our Alumni Mentoring Program. As a mentor, you will be matched with a junior or senior student at MNU. It is our hope that you will:

  • Meet once a month (during the academic year) with your mentee
  • Share your professional experience
  • Answer questions about the career field or profession they are interested in
  • Provide other opportunities to connect and support your mentee

legacy bricks

At the center of MNU’s campus lies the Legacy Circle. This walkway of bricks surrounds our Harvest Prayer sculpture and is etched with the names of alumni and long term faculty and staff. This is an incredibly meaningful part of our campus. Freshmen begin their MNU journey in this very spot with the Sowing Prayer during Welcome Week. Seniors conclude their time at MNU by revising this same place at graduation. The brick path, engraved with the names of so many Pioneers who came before them, is a reminder of the rich heritage our new graduates call their own. 

“The Legacy Circle was established by former MNU President, Dr. Ed Robinson, to provide a tangible way to celebrate the values and heritage of  MNU. This special place provides an opportunity for alumni and friends of the university to be included with thousands of others whose names will be recorded here for years to come. For generations students who walk this campus will recall the names of those who have preceded them. The names of faculty and staff with extended service will join MNU graduates in this legacy of  celebration of MNU and God’s faithfulness from generation to generation.” — Dr. David Spittal, MNU President
